Harley-Davidson’s V-Rod gets the big screen treatment as it takes a co-starring role in the 3-D super-hero action comedy Green Hornet, hitting the big screens this weekend. Riders will be happy to see Green Hornet’s side kick; Kato is a fellow biker as he roars across the screen on a customized Harley-Davidson v-rod.
Based on the American pulp hero and masked vigilante created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker the Green Hornet has maintained his popularity through radio plays in 1930s, film serials in the 1940’s a network television program in the 1960s and comic books over the decades.
With Seth Rogen in the title role of a trust-fund-baby-turned-crime-fighting bad boy the movie debuts in
cinemas around the country.
Appearing alongside a myriad of unusual weapons and a car based on a 1965 Chrysler Crown Imperial, Harley-Davidson’s performance motorcycle is seen in several scenes throughout the movie.
