Terry O’Brien Promoted To Harley Magazine Chief Operating Officer

Terry O’Brien has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer for privately owned TAM Communications, publisher of American Iron Magazine, RoadBike – Motorcycle Cruising, Motorcycle Bagger, and American Iron Garage magazines as well as various on-line ventures.

O’Brien joined the company originally as an ad salesman after reading American Iron Magazine as a Harley enthusiast. Over the years he was promoted first to Ad Sales Manager and then to Vice President. He is the first COO for the company and reports directly to President and owner Buzz Kanter.

“Terry has done an outstanding job over the years,’ Kanter stated. “Under his leadership we all look forward to continued growth and expansion into exciting new areas going forward.”   

 Founded by Gail and Buzz Kanter in a spare bedroom in their house in 1989, TAM Communications has grown over the years into one of the most successful motorcycle media companies with various print and on-line ventures.
