Default Biily Lane

Very disappointed that you featured a bike by Billy Lane - he killed a biker(guy riding a scooter) while driving drunk...

I believe the guy he hit was drunk too. Not that makes it right. Isn't Billy's license suspended? I wonder when that pic in AMI was snapped? Did you guys take a pic of him driving w/ suspended?

Billy Lane doesn't deserve squat from the biker community and I hope he roasts.

totally agree with what every one has said... i dont think its something that a biker mag should promote. 'specially a biker mag that promotes motorcycle safety, and the rider education training as often as AIM does...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion... just keep in mind People make mistakes... Billy has been one of the most accessible of the big wheels. Not saying he should get off, but it also shouldn't be worse because he's in the light. NONE of YOU would want to be here, and we've ALL made mistakes. I'm pretty sure the appointment for the pic session was made long before they were actually taken, so I'm guessing they took 'em anyway. I don't care for his customs, but I do love the real world way he does his chops... not like others, where they are actually shown shopping for the parts.

I'm glad pspt tried to inject some sense of balance. Maybe, for the rest, think twice before you hammer.

Billy blew it, thats fer sure.

But if you read the story, it's about the bike, not about Billy. Not sure I would have put one of his bikes on the cover, but then again I don't get a vote.

I agree we all make mistakes - but I have taken responsibility for mine. I am waiting for him to do the same. He was driving on a suspended license when it happened. I don't care for him or his bikes. Stand up like a man - be responsible.

Driving while intoxicated and with a suspended license are both deliberate acts, not mistakes.

I think many people have found themselves in Billy Lane's situation and it is a tragedy for all concerned, especially the deceased and his family. Anyone the puts themselves in harms way by chosing to risk the consequences of drunk driving should expect no less than the law provides. The consensus on this board suggests that Mr. Lane will suffer accordingly. Quite rightly IMHO
