Question Article/Editorial about Maura Hall

A friend told me that there was an article or editorial about Maura Hall in a recent issue of AIM. Does anyone know which issue this was in?

Maura Hall passed away last year due to complications from cancer. She worked at Zipper's Performance for a long time and was activley involved in Harley drag racing. She taught a "Drag Racing 101" class for the AHDRA and also the Thunder Alley Race School for AMDRAGS.

She was also a dear friend of my wife Karen Wagner and I. If anyone can point me to the article/editorial I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Jack Wagner

Maura was an amazing lady and I am fortunate to have known her. I know we ran a piece about her passing in our trade magazine - American Iron Retailer on page 15 of the Jan/Feb 2008 issue.

I second what Buzz said. I only got to hang around with her a couple of times at the AMDRAGS races. She could win a race or two! And everybody loved the drag racing classes she gave before the racing started. Once when I was hanging around at her racing trailer, she turned me on to those little ice cream balls coated in chocolate. Ill be forever grateful for that one. A great lady who will be missed.
