Thumbs down AIM Customs Special Issue... Where is it?!!?

Is anyone else having a hard time finding the AIM Customs special issue? I've checked four different news stands in the Chicago area, no one has it. Buzz and Co. ever thought of offering a "premium" subscription for a little more money and the special issues are sent to you? Maybe pull the Buyers Guide from the "normal" subscription and make it part of the "premium" subscription as well?

Exclamation I want in on the special issue!

I have been having trouble in Ontario finding this special issue. I have been to three "reliable" newstands in my neibourhood looking for it since it came out March 4 (right?) and no sign of it. Sometimes I wonder if they don't send enough for all the regular newstands that typicaly carry their magazine or the supplier isn't sending them?

What gives Buzz????

cheers!

Just picked up my issue at the stand and i gotta say that two bikes really stood out. The 3-ball bobber, and the cherry bobber were magnificant customs. These are the kind of bikes that i love to see and read about. Their fair priced to build and the articles were great. Keep up the good work AIM.

The section on the different types of S&S engines was great and will be a great refernce to hold on to.

By the way, the fellow who the photography in the "horrary for hollywood" did a knock out job. His eye for detail is perfect, and all this time i thought he was just a desk seated figure head who likes to spend money on bikes. Just kidding Buzz.

I found it at store no problem, it's about time S&S got the whole line up out there. The nitro drag sportster engine is awesome. Forget those baggers, I got to build up a 91" Sporty. Of course it wouldn't rev like a V-Rod, but I don't think you'd have too.

Sorry you are having a tough time finding it. We are always asking out distributors to increase their orders.

We do not include it in the subscription deal because many people do not want the specials and do not want to pay extra for them.

I guess we will never be able to please all the people all the time.

We are shifting over to more affordable customs that more typical riders can afford.

You can also order it on line through www.greaserag.com or by calling the office at 203.425.8777 and asking for Wanda.

I picked up my copy at the local WalMarts and there were 4 or 5 copies left on the shelf when I bought mine.

Try your local WalMart.

Cool Customs issue

You can get it on www.greaserag.com , the web site where we sell all our back issues and special issues. Here is the link that will take you directly to the customs issue:

I've never been able to find any of the specials, so I don't bother. I wanted that tuner's issue real bad, but not bad enuff to order it. The only issue we seem to have available is the regular mag.

I never see these on our newstand, either. Heck, I'd pay extra to have the special issues included in the subscription cost...maybe AIM could offer that as an option on the subscriptions - basic subscription then an upgraded subscription which would include the special issues?
