Default American Iron Harley Pan Crustoration

Hey Buzz, just wanted to say thanks for running articles like the Crustoration in American Iron. Its the kind of article that makes AI my favorite Harley magazine. How many parts will this article run and are you happy with the final outcome?
Will we get to see a full feature on the final machine after you guys do all your magic and how long did it take to wear the smile off your faces while building this thing?

I'll bet they haven't gotten the smiles off their faces yet. When we were at WTT this past Summer I told the wife," If we lived here you would always know where to find me."

Glad you liked the article. We are planning on running a total of 3 installments in the magazine and then a final full color feature on the finished bike.

Building and following this bike for the magazine was a great time with some great people. I love the way the bike came out and have ridden it a bit up here in Connecticut with plans to ride it a lot more this summer.

Pretty cool bike and story. Thanks for sharing with us who might never get that close to a real '48 Pan.

I like the article so far and hope you guys are planning on running some big photos of the finished bike either in American Iron, my favorite Harley magazine, or here on-line. Please?

Just got the 2nd part of the article. As fun as the first. Can't wait for the next one.

Please keep these stories coming. I can't get enough of them.

Glad you liked the second part. That issue of American Iron Magazine goes on sale nationally tomorrow. After that we have one more article than a full color feature on the finished bike. What a blast!

Here is a "Before" photo of the bike that would not start or run

And here's an "After" photo of the strong running bike as I put it through its paces.
