Default Was it AIM????

I'm looking for the website of a builder out of Central/NorCal. I believe AIM ran the article on a bike- the bike was called the "Gold Digger". It wasn't built by Voodoo Choppers or WCC. The builder was a big, white, bald dude if that helps any. Thanks for any info.

The Gold Digger was the cover feature for AIM's July 2007 issue. It was built by Dave Cook of Cook Customs in Milwaukee. But if you check the story's pix, you won't find any big, white, bald dudes. You must be thinking of another bike or builder we've featured.

Adam- Either gold digger is a common name for custom bikes or AIM didn't run the artilce or both. The Cook bike wasn't it either.... I want to say the name of the shop was cal customs or something to that effect. Whenever I search for it though what comes up isn't what I was looking for. I know the bike (once released) made the cover of several other mags, too, but like I said though I thought it was featured in AIM.

1haugster- Not sure, never heard of cycle source. I'll do some more digging. Eventually I'll find it.

Thanks!

EDIT: I got it....The builder was Joe Cree from California Customs.

Cycle Source is a grass roots magazine based out of Pittsburgh, PA. It started out as a free newspaper type mag and eventually turned into a standard type magazine. I don't subscribe but a friend does and I get to look at it from time to time. Another friend has had is Gold Digger bike and his rat rod car featured in the mag. You can this Gold Digger bike at the owners website the paintchop.com
