Default Our 20th Anniversary Celebration.

I can hardly believe it but American Iron Magazine will celebrate our 20th anniversary in March 2009. WOW!

We already have some plans on how to celebrate this with our readers but are always looking for more good ideas. And after hanging around on this forum for a while I know we have plenty of creative folks here who should be able to add to the fun.

Can't go into all the details just yet, but I can tell you well will be giving away a free brand new motorcycle (big ticket), a new S&S engine and lots of other cool stuff.

Other ideas please?

I would like to see some really nice leather jackets, and T shirts. Something Classy not to painted up. You know something with just the logo or like the decal on the back, or small on the front, given away or sold reasonably.
Is the get together at the office, or is it going to be just Online?
How about a live cast, or video for us “not going to be able to make it ‘normal’ guys” here in the forum, so we can join in.

For the forum members, I would suggest a drawing for something nice (not really a motorcycle or anything like that) but I would be cutting my own throat since I have never won a drawing for anything in my life. Maybe an anniversary belt buckle, or jacket. Maybe a nylon jacket that 's not too too expensive.
You could divide the drawings up to give one to each class of forum member. New, senior, etc.

I know what would twist my throttle. How about one of those do it yourself kit bikes. You could give it away and do a folow up article to show if a novice can actually build the thing from scratch. Maybe make it a challenge for the manufacturer. You could highlight the expertise here online by making it available to the winner. Not sure I could do it but man wouldn't that be fun to try. Imagine the feeling when you ride off for the first time on a bike you built from the ground up. It must be the ultimate rush.

Negative, Ghostrider. I would very much like mine too.

I like the ideas for some limited edition gear.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

I have received only 3 requests for AIM stickers and personally stuck the stickers in the SASEs and put them back in the mail the very same day.
