I like the how to's as well I read the magazine from cover to cover. Normally I first look at the memories photo on the last page then see what Donny has to say. I will read his article then start at the front of the mag and read it page by page normally reading Donny's piece again. I must admit that sometimes I do not understand all the numbers in his charts.
I like to look at the custom bikes even though I will never build or ride one. The how to's for building engines and such are intersting but don't really apply to what I will ever do. For this reason I am more interested in the basic stuff. A spread on changing grips or adjusting the clutch would be of real interest to me. I suppose those that already know how to do this would skip over it but then again some might check it out to see if there is that special tip.
I think it is a great magazine and you cannot be all things to all readers. I am sure the more skilled readers enjoy the engine builds and such.
I personally wish the how to's were also on this site with more photos. I understand that the printed page real estate is limited but posting a few extra photos on-line would be cheap.
