Default Electronic Issue of AIM

Will AIM be publishing in electronic format again for downloading? I really miss this facility.

Secondly, where can I see a pic of the bike featured in Project Dark Star?

We tried the electronic version and spent a lot more money creating the e-version than we ever made selling them. We tried it for about a year and lost a few thousand bucks. So, the short version is sorry, no more.
Project Dark Star is actually for sale in all it's fast and fun glory. I am amazed how little respect the Dyna-sport gets as a "used" bike. Especially one with all the well balanced upgrades this one had.

Hi Buzz,

Thanks for the frank reply. Of course the internet is here to stay and things change quicker every year so we must all change if we are to keep up. But change without improvement is worthless. A common dilemma faced by most SMEs is the culture difference between brand and commodity management. E.g. are they a magazine publishing company featuring motorcycle engineering or a motorcycle engineering company featuring limited access to a magazine. My humble advice is go with the internet as well hardcopies although without using a bespoke or prototype solution which can be costly and dispiriting. Contact your local uni and give an ITC major a month’s work in the summer with a clear brief and fixed costs. It will be possible to attach the e-version to this website, even scanned in pdf or tiff, along with a low rate merchant account, for a few hundred dollars. That way we both won’t miss out.

I am certainly interested in the Dyna-sport and would like to see some photos of it if you have them. Or, alternatively, let me know the back numbers where it was featured and I will order them. Kind regards tonydonnelly@fastmail.fm
