I have a suggestion that I would like to see in the mag. I don't know how difficult it would be but I would love to see a series of articles about famous movie bikes. Of course the Captain America bike along with Billy bike. But also the Triumph from The wild one, the bike used by Peter Fonda in The Wild Angels, the bike ridden by Michael Parks in Then Came Bronson or maybe bikes from Hell Ride or CC and Company. the bikes used in Hells Angels on Wheels would be cool too. Or talk about movies that use a bike for a scene and how it changes to another model in the next scene (like the Harley's in Another 48 hours do). There are a good number of movie bikes that could be done in a few short articles. I for one would love to see a series like this and I can imagine others would as well. It might be hard to find out about some of the older ones but I am sure a few hollyweird folks might be able to share some interesting facts and stories about some of these old biker films and the bikes we love to watch the movie guys ride.
Another bunch of bikes that would be cool to hear about are from the Sons of Anarchy series.
I've been meaning to bring up this subject with you guys but this seemed like a good way to do it.
Thanks for putting out such a quality publication. |
How about the bike from the true american biker movie -
Pee Wee's Big Adventure
There's also the ones from Clint Eastwood's
Every Which Way movies.
The Buells from
Blade
For something newer
Wild Hogs
I barely remember some bad tv show in the mid eighties that was based around a group of undercover cops in LA that rode Harleys as part of their cover - can't remember the name of the show, but it was pretty poor.
Also didn't they have a Sporty in the movie
The Mannequin?
Easy folks, I'm stretching the cerebral cells here..........
How about the chopper from
Cheech & Chongs Next Movie or just the guitar with the rearview mirror on the headstock.
Bruce Willis was on an H-D in
Pulp Fiction
OK, I'm done for now................
