Got a bike you think belongs in
American Iron Magazine? Well, here's Chris Maida's answer for you:
"All you need to do to submit a bike for possible feature is send me some photos of the bike. I'll need a full left and right shot, as well as a close up of any images on the bike.
If I'm interested in the bike, I'll contact you and we'll work the rest out. I'll also need a tech sheet for whatever bike you submit for consideration.
Electronic stuff comes to
chrism@americanironmag.com, while prints go to
American Iron Magazine, 1010 Summer Street, Stamford, CT 06905, Attn: Chris Maida.
Chris"
Please follow these directions closely. We have had people sending photos and information to the wrong place, and a lot of time the stuff gets lost. If you send materials to anyone other than Chris, you risk getting your work misplaced. We had a gentleman overseas who sent us CDs of his bike's photos, and they were never delivered to Chris here. The gentleman keeps asking if we got his CDs.
Be sure to send a few digital images showing both sides of the bike shot the same way we do a bike feature, as well as some shots of you with the bike. We'll also need full contact info for you, including a daytime phone number. Sorry, photos will not be returned.
