Default Workin' for Buzz

Buzz,
Unfortunately the economy is taking it's toll on our new shop & I find myself in need of a new job,any openings at the magazine? I have decades of experience & have written for you before.Picture this: An "in house" garage where any new trinkets could be instantly installed & evaluated.Or perhaps someone to install the last minute Wal Mart battery so you dont miss your ride. The possibilities are endless!!!

Thanks in advance,
Ace

Are you serious? No openings at the magazine that I am aware of but if you are serious about this contact AIM editor Chris Maida to see if he needs any freelance stuff.

Unfortunately, between the soggy ass June & July we had & the economy being what it is the shop is going to be a part time, one man show. This leaves me looking for a shop that's hiring (bad time of year for that) I have no doubt that I'll land on my feet, but I might have to relocate, which I'm not looking forward to.I'll e-mail Chris & see what he has going on,meanwhile,if any forum members know of a shop that could use a qualified technician please let me know.

Cajun Harley Davidson in Scott, La. is looking for full time service technicians (MMI Graduates Preferred).
I know this is a long way away from where you are but I have to try to help because you were willing to help me.

Here's a link.

Louisiana, Harley-Davidson, Buell, motorcycle, dealer, Cajun Harley-Davidson

I would suggest filling out the online contact form and then calling. They may want to send you a complete application to fill out.

I just checked the dealer website under the link for employment and they listed a need for a service writer and service technicians.

You might try to go to the websites of any dealer near to you (or not if you want to relocate) and see if they have the same ads. I've checked a number of dealers before and they do change occasionally so to the best of my knowledge they are legit ads.

Northshore HD, Slidell, La. also

Louisiana Motorcycle Dealer - NorthShore Harley-Davidson

Hammond HD, Hammond, La.

Louisiana, Harley-Davidson, motorcycle, dealer, Hammond Harley-Davidson Shop

Renegade HD, Alexandria, La.

Renegade Harley-Davidson, Buell, Sales and Service, Accessories, Parts & Rentals

New Orleans HD, New Orleans, La.

Louisiana Motorcycle Dealer - Harley-Davidson of New Orleans - New And Used Bikes

Basically, go to any HD dealership and see if there is a link to employment or career opportunities. At that link they usually list if they need sales or service positions.
Good luck. I really hope you find something you like.

Mike
