| | Billy Joels Bike From OCC I herd from a friend on Long island that Billy Joels bike that was made by OCC burnt up!! The bike that was on the tv show is now in Lighthouse Harley in Huntington NY. I also hear OCC will not guarantee the bike !!! I am trying to find out more about this and will update as soon as I find out more. I did hear the fire started in the harness area because of loose wires but I dont know for sure. The bike is in a area of the dealership where nobody can see it, also hear Billy Joel is taking them to court to recoup the loss. Lets see what else I can find out. More to come. | | How many of you remember Jay Leno razzing them about how his bike was wired when he had them on the Tonight Show? Posted by: 94flhtcu on Mar 8, 07 9:43:46 pm |

| | That was funny seeing Jay razz them about the wiring, but it happens. Had a friend with some wacky wiring from the York plant, and that's all those guys do all day long. It reminds me of a truck a friend had - To turn the wipers on you had to switch the turn signal on and turn on the radio before hitting the wiper switch. | | Hey Wanker. I am curious, what bikes have you built and what do you ride? Are you a wrench and rider or what, because you sure do seem to have a lot of opinions about most subjects here on our bulletin board.
And, in case you were curious, I've been building, modifying, rebuilding, racing, and riding motorcycles since I bought my first one in 1974. Posted by: Buzz Kanter on Mar 9, 07 5:16:14 pm |

| | I don't really care if you like the OCC crew or don't like them,if you like thier bikes or don't like thier bikes,if you think they are over priced or not over priced,if they are well built or pile of part slapped together. They have built more bikes and made more money than I will in three life times.
Just the fact they are on TV and gotten a huge amount of coverags has helped us all out.How many people have gotten into motorcycling because of that show? The interest it has generated has allowed shows like "Biker Build Off","Build or Bust".and a slew of others.
Can we have too many Motorcycles on the road?(of any type) I don't think so.So more power to them, hope they stay on the air for years,And lets get another million motorcycles on the road. Posted by: Garry F on Mar 10, 07 3:22:58 pm |
