Default Buell Ulysses

I was wondering what you all think of the Buell Ulysses and if any of you have had a chance to actually ride one.

Genevieve (I'm pretty sure it was Genevieve) had a couple of paragraphs in her column a few months back about the Ulysses. She was picking her favorites... tourers, track bikes, scoot around bikes, etc. The Ulysses won out on her all-around category. Said it was one that she has been aching to ride again since her test-ride.*

I've heard similar accounts from other mags and riders as well, but I've never riden one myself.

* Please note that the author is paraphrasing to the best of his recollection and takes no responsibility for the lack of fidelity in his reproduction of Genevieve's actual words or feelings regarding the Buell Ulysses .

So my dad is a lawyer. So what

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

Gald she said that because I've heard other staffers say they were aching because of them

Sorry but it just doesn't look or sound like a Harley. No - I'll pass on this one.

They need to do something about 1st gear hen going off-raod. You spend a lot of time and effort horsing the clutch and revving the motor trying to not stall it out until you can gran 2nd. Take one through some tight switchbacks and you'll see what I mean. I realize that it's a dual-pupose bike, but I'd rather have to shift at 5mph on the street than try to negotiate a sloppy, twisty trail while trying to play with the RPMs.

Through an after market exaust on it and tell me it doesn't sound like a harley. One great pleasure was to ride my X1 and have people looking around trying to find that sportster.

I've done that more than a couple times. But I usually figure it out once I spot the Buell.
