Default XB9 and XB12 comparison

If there's anyone here who currently has, or has had, both xb9 and xb12, how do they compare? Going by stats, the xb12 weighs only 10 pounds more but has 14 more horsepower and more torque. Buell talks about the light weight of the xb9 at 390 dry, which is light, almost 200 pounds less than my Nightster, which Hurricane Ike relieved me of. But only 10 pounds more for more power seems to be a no-brainer, at least on paper. I'm seriously in the market for a Buell but haven't had opportunity to ride any except the Blast, which is a blast if you like slow and easy. Just wondering what folks here think. I'm just average height, weight, inseam, so fitment shouldn't be a problem. I'm waiting for your inputs, and thanks.

Thanks for the kind words. We got some damage, but many got much worse so we don't have anything to whine about. Insurance will cover most of our losses, and the rest we didn't need anyway. Meanwhile, I've made an offer to a dealer on their website for an XB12STT, a leftover 2007, don't expect them to take it or even to let me know for a couple of days. I'll let you know here what happens. I haven't ridden it yet and may not even want it, who knows?

Dang glad you made it through... awful sorry you lost the sled, though.

Nice to hear someone so positive in the face of difficulty... kinda rare these days. Good on ya.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

Given the choice between crying and laughing, we'll take laughing every time because it's easier and I'm just lazy.
