Default Buell Off Road Bike

If Buell builds an off-road model would you consider buying one?

I have mixed feelings about such a move but am curious as to what they are going to produce.

I would be intersted in owning one, but only if it is not a top heavy tank of a bike with 4" of suspension travel and an exhaust system routed underneath it...

Default Me too

I would be interested in an off road Buell. I second the motion on staying away from mile high suspension. With 29" inseam I need to be a little closer to the ground. I love the power and handling of Buells but I want my bike to look more traditional. If their dirtbike looked like an updated XR 750 and backed it up with serious power they would have to build a bigger plant to keep up with demand.

Would it be a true off-road bike or more of a dual purpose bike? The Ulysses is a decent touring/dual purpose bike, but will be much improved when they put a shorter gear in 1st so it doesn't need the clutch feathered. Not a nice thing when trying to work your way over gravel on a hill or through some twisties especially.

That depends. Are we talking a full on motocross bike or not? If it would be a full on motocross bike it would have to be pretty outstanding for me to justify the cost of a brand new toy when I already have a wickedly fast RM 250 in the garage that's paid for. Heck, I'm still trying to convince my wife that I "NEED" a Ulysses to ride back and forth to work on so my EG Classic doesn't get so dirty.

I grew up on dirt bikes but there is no where to ride around here anymore. Way to many transplants
