Buzz Kanter's Motorcycles For Sale Every time I go out into my overcrowded garage to do something with or to one of my old Harley or Indian motorcycles I often have to push one or more of them out of the garage to let me get to another one. And even then I feel I still have to climb over and contort myself to get to what I am trying to work on - like change the connection for a battery charger.
So, every once in a while I stop, look over all the bikes, scratch my head and think to myself it's time to sell off a few (usually the same week I find another one I can't live without.
I am looking for a complete, running and dependable pre-1916 American motorcycle (prefer Harley or Indian) and am open for possible trades.
So here is a current list of motorcycles I am thinking I'd be interested in selling: 1931 Harley V mild hot rod that we mechanically sorted out and took land speed racing (5 passes and 5 class records) in Maxton, NC last year with Wheels Through Time and American Iron Magazine. Great looking and strong running bike with many upgrades. $15,000 firm. 1947 Indian Chief. My personal rider for many years. Well sorted and dependable. Maroon paint, tan leather solo saddle and matching bags. $25,000 firm. 1973 Harley Shovelhead Sturgis motorcycle. All together and in decent running condition. Project for American Iron Magazine I never got around to. Some spares. $6,000 firm. 1960s Ducati 250 Mark 3. Very cool and highly desirable original Italian sportbike with factory gooseneck bars. Hasn't run in years. $4,500 firm.
PM me if interested and serious. |
