Default Oldest Rider

I know from emails and letters from our readers that I am not the only American Iron Magazine reader wot ride an old bike. So I am curious how many AIMag.comers ride the old iron.

I've mentioned my 1955 Panhead sidecar rig and 1947 Knuck a few times. I ride them both regularly. The oldest I have even actually ridden is a 1924 Harley JDCA. But that was no more then around the block a few times.

What's the oldest American bike you have even ridden and what's the oldest you still do ride, even if it's only occasionally?

Like you I ride a '47 knucklehead, but the oldest was a quick ride on a friend's 1927 Harley JD - what a hoot!

I just finished building a 55 Pan. Still working out some bugs, but it is a blast.

Oldest I rode was a 1978 Shovelhead. But that was more then 10 years ago. Long since sold and upgraded to newer and faster.

My friend had an old 1947 45 model that was passed down to him from his dad. He let me ride it. I remember I was shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and killed her. I was a little shamed but did ok.
