Default July 4th Weekend Ride

Well it's the 4th July weekend, and the weather here in Connecticut is overcast and chance of rain pretty much all week, but this morning it's only 30% chance of rain. So I am planning on riding to Marcus Dairy in Danbury, less than an hour away, with a neighbor Dean.

I'll ride my 1931 Indian 101 Scout and he's probably going to ride his 1958 Panhead. These two bikes should give the RUBs something to talk about at Marcus this morning. Details to follow and hope we stay dry!

Made it out and back with both bikes and only a slight sprinkle in the roughly 100 mile round trip ride.

Ours were by far the oldest bikes at Marcus Dairy in Danbury, CT today. Lots of odd questions by people who mostly didn't have a clue what an Indian 101 Scout or Harley Panhead are. Go figure!

Sounds great Buzz. I have been there when they have there bike show. It's a cool spot. Some real old fashion and decent food in the restuarant.

Glad you stayed dry.
