Default 1947 Chief at Marcus Dairy

Just got back from my Sunday morning Marcus Dairy breakfast ride and saw a wonderful 1947 Indian Chief in the parking lot there.

I've seen the bike there many times over the years and I recognized the owner. I chatting briefly with him about the bike and he told me he's owned it since the last 1960s, when he paid $200 for it. He also said he's had the same battery in it for over 15 years and it still works fine.

I said I'd quadruple his money if he wanted to sell it to me. He laughed and wondered if I was joking (I was.)
