Default I Started My 1930 Indian Four By Hand!

This is a first for me. I have never started a motorcycle with my hand. I'd heard of other people doing it with the classic Indian Four motorcycles and seen a video of one fellow do it. So I figured why not?

Check it out, this is my 1930 Indian Four. It has been sitting for almost a year and a half at this point. In that time I had to fix some exhaust issues, and started it only once in that time, about a week ago.

It does help to have the throttle partially open when trying to start an old Indian motorcycle like this - either by hand or by foot!

Yes, a "real"man or a drunk one. I was sober at the time

The bike in the background is my pal Dean's 1958 Harley Panhead he rode over. Dean was holding the video camera when I was trying to start the Indian Four motorcycle. After hand starting the old Indian motorcycle, he and I went out for an hour ride on our old motorcycles. Fun!
