Default For Sale My Personal 1947 Indian Chief Motorcycle

I have owned this old Indian Chief for more than a decade, and in that time put thousands of fun miles on it. Rebuilt the top end, oil pump and generator over the years.

I put it in temporary storage when I ran out of garage space. It has been sitting for more then 3 years so I figure it's time to offer it for sale.

A few details: Strong running engine, original 1947 Indian Speedometer, King clutch, beautiful and expensive repop Indian mirrors, Terrific Heathers Leathers custom leather finged seat and matching saddlebags, rack, decent tires, "Four" chrome steering damper, handlebar crossover, Indian badged spotlights, rear Indian bumper, and more.

This beauty has won more motorcycle shows than I can remember - thanks to its graceful lines, classic good looks and handsome combination of the Indian red paint and tan fringed leather.

Was a very strong runner but now has a dead battery - which I can supply.

Not anxious to sell this after so many miles ans so many years but will sell it for $25,000 firm. The motorcycle is in Connecticut and registered in my name.

If you hear some screaming from the south, that would be my wife when I tell her why we need a third bike to go along with her two trikes.

Thanks for explaining that. I was wondering what that noise was.

Well the screaming has stopped. Don't know if thats a good or a bad sign. I have locked up all my guns just in case.

Sometimes you have to dream big, and I've found that sometimes dreams come true. So far I retired at 54, own two Harleys and a home on the water plus everything is paid for. A mans got to dream!!!
