The light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing,
stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by
accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in
frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection,
dropping her cell phone and makeup.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up
into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to
exit her car with her hands up.

He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted,
photographed, and placed in a holding cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the
door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer
was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, ''I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your
car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you
and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper
sticker, the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to
Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem
on the trunk, so naturally....I assumed you had stolen the car.''

After replacing my stator I initially checked it for operation by reading directly from the battery. I mean that baby was pumping out! Good to go....

After replacing my stator I initially checked it for operation by reading directly from the battery. I mean that baby was pumping out! Good to go. I've been looking closely at my onboard volt meter as I ride. It shows maybe... 12 or 13 volts max at any given time or RPM. I thought maybe I had blown the regulator a day or so later when I started looking at the volts more closely.

So tonight I came home and using my battery tender leads, I checked the battery voltage. Wow, according to my Fluke meter, I could arch weld with the alternator/regulator output. It's shows 13-14 volts at a mild RPM. I looked at the onboard at the same time. It showed 10 volts. When I use my running lights and signals, the onboard pulses (a lot)

My question is: Does the onboard meter read downstream of the bike's total electrics thusly reading lower than the battery? Should the onboard be the same as the direct battery voltage? Personally I think they would be the same. But maybe directly from the battery the voltage would be cleaner/higher. Again, I don't think so. I guess I should take my fairing off and check the voltage to the meter itself.

I guess that's it for THIS question... I have one other that I will ask once I figure out the meter thing.

Thanks you guys.

I have one of the blue blubs in it for night time riding and will try going back to a stock one just for giggles BUT...

I got home after a ride of about 40 miles. I happened to brush against the headlight shell as I was looking at something on the front of the bike and it was HOT to the touch. So hot I couldn't keep my hand on it.

No, seriously, that hot.
Anyone run into that?

It has long been know that the government has been passing gun law that only effect the common citizen not the criminals. IN the mean time California cry's about taking away the guns from citizens in any manner possible , while pandering for money. here is an idea , all the record keeping for guns in California cost money and they need to balance their budget. This present time would be a good time for the rest of the country to remove these bad anti constitutional laws from the books.
they subvert the constitution.
cost money to enforce.
are not in the interest of the people.
Lets start striking down these laws that remove American freedom and the cost of effecting these laws along with the simple truth of the agenda , this is a good reason to expidite removal along with the obvious.
I can't believe they elected keegan to the supremem court, a proffesor who couldn't make it on the out side, with no practical experience, she needs to be removed. Its time we start looking at these agenda appointments and at the law to remove them. America will either be a free country or be socialist there is no such thing as a soft socialist. these liberals and big international companies and banks need to go. We the people are stuck between the socialists and the imperialist, a they need to go. you guys are our representatives put your heels on there necks, its time we get our country back.
God bless and keep you, thank youfor your service , harold.
Unless these announcements are required by the timing of primary or special elections, the NRA-PVF generally does not issue endorsements while important legislative business is pending.

I am looking for help in figuring out what, if anything, my father's '58 Harley Sidecar motorcycle is worth. It's complicated...he took it apart MANY years ago to refurbish, and has since passed away. We believe we have most if not all the parts, and he did have some work done to restore the frame and body. The engine has been on a mount the entire time it has been apart, so there is no external damage, but not sure of the internal condition.

Sadly, none of us are qualified to put it back together. We are trying to sell it because we feel that a Harley should be running, not locked in a storage unit. We don't want to give away our dad's hard work, but are completely lost as to what is proper value for something that will require a pretty hefty investment to get running.

Any input or comments are welcome...thanks folks!
