Hi all,
Has anyone tried one of the various pet carriers designed to attach to the back of your motorcycle? A friend of mine asked my opinion about them and since I only have cats (although one seems like he could be a candidate), I don't know much about them. I'd love to hear your recommendations.

Just wanted to share that I got these extensions a while back. Harley Goodies has greatly increased my comfort on my bike. They are inexpensive and simple to install. Great instructions and they shipped extremely fast. Free shipping too. I have a fatboy so got them for my softail, but they make them for other models as well. Also got the chrome floorboard brackets. A nice touch.

Hi
as some of ya know I bought the '72 Shovel a while back, and now I am in the market for a Mikuni carb for it. I have a line on one localy, but it is not happening fast enuff for me.
I have another bike with the Mik-45 on there, but it is a 100" motor. This is a stock motor on the Shovel so I guess a smaller Mik could do the trick.

So, anyone got a Mik-42 for sale?? How much??

Two questions:
1) Where do you think the best deal on motorcycle luggage is as regards cost and reputation.

2) What do think of the Saddlemen BR3400? Overpriced? Great luggage? Do you have it?

Please help a relative newbie. I haven't been able to find any shops around here (NW Chicago 'burbs) to compare in person so have been looking in mags (found this one in American Iron) and online. I have an '09 Sportster 883 Custom with sissybar and luggage rack.

Thanks for any help you can give me! :)

Here is the bag in question:
