If you can ride...Have your own bike...Why would anyone want to be a Human backrest?

Sorry. I have to much fun riding. Besides I better be damn drunk or you better be a very very good rider if I am going to hop on the back!

I have no problems giving a Non Rider a ride or someone who breaks down. I would hesitate getting on the back of a starngers bike if I broke down.

There are a lot of folks that should not be on a bike let alone having a passenger.

How do you vote when there is no "Situation has never come up" button? I've never had a reason to ride on the back of a bike other than teaching my son to ride. I have had other guys on a bike, same as I've had a lot of gals on a bike.

My daughter asked me to take her boyfriend for a ride as he is becoming interested in bikes. (he was also interested in flyfishing but then I could just hand him a video)

After making sure he was fully helmeted, in a full face helmet, and wearing dark sunglasses (disguising him hopefully) I found every back road I could for the 15 minute ride, making certain he knew that the backrest was there to hold him. No leaning, no touching, no talking, zip, nada. Fortunately no one I knew rode by.

Good thing I love my daughter!

way back about 1980 I was at my buddy Jacks house up in West Sunbury one saturday afternoon, his ol'lady took the van to run some errands and me and Jack were playin around with his bike,he wanted to put some old leather saddle bags on. He wanted cut a hole in the back of the bag to secure it to the frame with a wire tie I said give me your knife and go get the wire tie. He said be careful I just sharpend it last night.Well woudn't you know it I damn near cut the tip of my index off. There we were with just the two bikes for tranportation Jacks was pretty much just a solo K model so that left mine thats when I had a sportster which I had set up pretty much for me at 6ft with forward controls and drag bars and so on Jack was barley over 5ft so it made for an interesting ride to the hospital to say the least I bet we were quite the site to see coming down the rode thats the only time I've hade to ride bitch and hope to never do it again

Not me. I would NEVER ride bitch to my wife or any ither women ! I really do not like using that word to describe my wife or any other female unless she really is a "Bitch". My wife, or a lady friend sounds much better.
As far as taking another male for a ride, sure I have done that a few times. A Break down,
the one that wants a bike but never rode one. And no, I do not like to at all.

First thing; I do not consider anyone on the back of my bike a "bitch"; be they female or male.
My wife doesn't ride her own; and so rides with me as a passenger.
I have ridden as a passenger when I was too young for a driver's license' but that's it.
If I ever broke down on the road; I'd accept a lift if I trusted the person stopping; but most likely wouldn't leave my scooter along the road.
I'd simply ask whoever stopped to send help.
