Never on my FLHT, on a BMW at Sturgis. Once is enough!

Oh,yeah..I was young and dumb..and,have done the ton (+) on the Harley,too..but seem to have out-grown (?) the "need for speed" and generally stick to 5 over, now. Well..usually anyhow !

Once on the old Sporty, and almost on the FXDB (95+). But I'm pretty much a 5 mph over kinda guy.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

Only way my knuck will go that fast is in the back of a real fast truck!

But I have ridden well over 100 mph on other bikes.

More than I should. Not as fast as some here, tho. When I got the 94, it wouldn't do 100... that took a little work. Once I got the response that I wanted, had to go to work on the brakes! I seldom go over 100 now, but 90 is a regular.

Cool 100 mph

Most of the time I like to cruise at 80-85 on the highway if not the cagers are trying to run you over here in Maryland.Last year I installed a TXR frame stabilizer which helps with cornering and wobble on these newer FL's.Sometimes when I feel the need for speed I do like to ring it out a bit, 115 or so.I 've caught myself more than once up over 100 running up through the gears getting on an Interstate usally in 4th gear. When I ride out west this summer I'm sure I'll end up running 100 for a sustained period trying to make time.

I'm pretty sure every time I go riding I hit 100 mph at some point. The question is how many miles have you gone at 100 mph? I did about 60 miles, then starting getting to close Phoenix. Just cause it's a Harley don't mean you can't run the ton. Those RG's are really good at that, in comfort too.

105 indicated and was still pulling w/ more throttle to go. Once. Never again. More fun from 0-whatever on a Harley.

My Shovel is wound tight around 90 mph and the 1926 JD will go 70 mph but it feels a whole lot faster. I normally cruise around 65 mph on the Shovel and 45 to 50 mph on the JD.
