Default New Bikes

Was in Rocket HD, Hsv Al this week, its where wife works they had just had there staff meeting. New bike announced Harley Trike 2 Wheel up front one in rear?????. They also have 6 xbones 3 diff models, biggest diff I could see was solo seat, two up seat, and old style seat, plus one with bags. Had diff models of rocker one with funky gray color engine and appointments. 7 of the Sportster (cant think of model but all black one. Grand total of about 200 08 bikes. They need sales bad....

The MoCo signed a contract with Leeman trikes 06 -07 so they should soon be hitting the show roon floors.

Will be suprised if it os 2 wheels at the front though.

The Leman trike is the conventional 2 wheels in back/ 1 in front. The reference to the non-conventional 2 in front is regarding a patent H-D got for a trike of that design.
It will be interesting to see what variations hit the showroom floor.
The next year or two should be interesting. The MOCO pressured dealers to build those big, outrageously expensive new buildings, and it was viable when sales were extremely brisk....how many can survive hard times with that kind of overhead? Time will tell.

Our local dealer 's sales seem to be off quite a bit from previous years.
I also found out they have laid off three people during the Winter and haven't called them back.
But for some reason they still don't really seem to want to "deal" on a bike.
They just set their price and offer low wholesale or less for your trade-in.
Go figure!!

2 wheels up front, are you for real? Could be cool.

2 wheels up front, is called a reverse trike, that would be interesting, but would suprise me if Harely did it.

I can see HD doing a trike like a modern Servicar, but I'd be surprised if they put two wheels up front.
