Default Video Camera on a Motorcycle

I just started exploring the use of a video camera to tape rides. Anyone else into this?

My first attempt came out kind of pixelated. You can view it .

This one is really just a test to see if I could get a clearer video. It's just the Harley Dealer where I bought my bike. Click .

I'd say pretty good for a first try.

Thanks for that. I'm having fun trying to get the hang of it. One more excuse to ride!

If I tried that on the old Pan/Shovel it would probably be just a blur. Your video turned out fine. Nice looking bike also.

Nice footage. Where/how is the camera mounted?

BTW: You see that jerk in the white SUV cross the double line at 1:55? Perfect video taped evidence of why lane management is so important.

AW, We wont mention that I rolled through the stop sign just before then. It's a three way T intersection so I dont consider that move unsafe just unlawful. I remember seeing that SUV cross the double yellow while taping and wondering if any one would notice. Good eye. It happens all the time on that "S" turn. People are too lazy to stay in their lane and they do what that guy did. Like you said lane management all the way.

The camera is mounted to a RAM mount that is attached to the handlebars.

Stay tuned, more to come soon.

That was cool, reminded me of the Jersey shore. Could almost smell the salt air, and you can never go wrong with Zeppelin.

Thanks for shring. Might be fun to ride behind some other riders to add to the feeling of riding.

Good luck with it.
