Buzz. Evo, yea it is a nice ride up, not the Blue Ridge but nice for us flatlanders here in Fl.
You know what they say about Florida, eleven turns in 318 miles;-)
Not a lot of traffic, lot of quaint towns. It is a ride up between the foot hills and the coast.
And the land speed trials is very interesting to see.
Lot of fast bikes, cars. Cool to see them take off on their quest for speed.
I go up once a year, and meet a lot of my Yahoo friend. This is the big get together, the ironheads are riding Deals gap, then going to the track.
I am planning on camping out there at the track, but there are motels around that a lot of guys are staying at.
If anyone would like to see the land speed runs, this is a good place on the east coast to do it.
Last year a good friend of mine, Murf, was swapping records with another gal, to be the fastest woman.
She crashed going through the traps at 235 and held the record for a hour, before it was broken.
She broke her shoulder and was done for the season.
I am friends with a couple of the race teams and it is always fun to see them set up, run.
Here is a link to the East coast timing ass. (ECTA)

The ride back I let the bike go where it wants, with a map and GPS so I don’t end up in Canada.
Nice get lost ride home.
Anyone from up north want to meet me there just chime in.
And when I get home I will do a ride report.
