Default The Best Motorcycle Ever?

Could be old or new.

I vote for the Harley Davidson VROD.

Alot of you might thumb your nose at that decision and thats fine.

Whats your favorite?

H-D Sportster. 50 years and still rolling strong in basically its original configuration.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

I'll second that. Best all around pavement bikes. They kind of suk in the dirt, not counting Hogwild's ride.

For a Harley I'd say perhaps the 1936 Harley EL - the first OHV Harley, which was an amazing step forward in its time.

For an import, I'd go with 1969 Honda CB750 - first OHC, in-line four cylinder, and first disc brake.

Or a 1930s Indian Scout 101, recognized as one of the best handling motorcycles of all time.

Or...... jeez, the list can go on forever. Lots of great bikes out there.

All excellent choices. I might also add a 1929 Harley JDH 2-cam. The last of the JD series and it could do 100 mph right off the showroom floor.
