this past saturday i took a cruise down to the local dealership, just like any normal saturday for me,and to my surprise, sitting in its own nice little spot on the floor was a 2009 screamin eagle fat bob.i fell in love immediately.it made me feel like my '08 fat bob was an old pair of stinky sneakers.i feel guilty for feeling this way,but i cannot help it.however,26,000 + is probably too expesnive for me.anyway, anybody else see one?what did you think?or better yet, anybody buy one yet?
I too saw one but way too flashy for me. Just my personal opinion. I have found though lately the Screaming Eagle bikes are not getting the re-sale value they should be. I guess if you plan on keeping it for the long haul why not. Dont be too hard on your 08...its a real nice bike. Botz

What's on the '09 Fat-Bob CVO,that you could'nt adapt to your bike..for LESS money as you go along ???
And, would you keep the stock CVO int & exh..for example..or,have to add $$$$ to that 26-K price tag,too !?!

I haven't seen the 09 Screaming Eagle models but I have an 06 SEE Fatboy. The CVOs are beautiful bikes. I have come to find that all the chrome on the dash panel and tach reflects mucho sunlight when I'm riding. If you can get past the price tag I'd say go for it. My bike has the 103 ci motor whereas the newer SEs have the 110 ci motor.

the asnwer to your first question is i don't know.i still don't know a whole lot about engine modifications,i guess first of all i'd have to know what all is different about the SE motor.i know it's 110 cu in.i'm guessing bigger bore.and a longer stroke, which would also mean different cams, right?maybe different rockers to go with the high performance cams?i have read a little bit about these types of things, but i've never actually had any hands on experience.i'm guessing it's one of those things that you can read all about it you want, but it's never as good as actually doing it.
as for your second question, good point.i guess the SE air cleaner would work, but i would put a different exhaust on it.i'm assuming the SE models come with the SERT already on the bike.i would replace that too.money i already have in my own fat bob.

Well I have a great 09 SE Fat Bob for sell and good ole HD will gladly finance it for you. I have all the accessories anyone could want including all the quick disconnects. I've added addtional paint work to finish what HD started. I also added $700 worth of new front rotors. If you might be interested let me know. I have 30k+ in this bike and will let it go for 23K. the paint work makes this bike very unique. This shows the paint work but none of the other extras. Gary’s Motorcycles
