I ride a RK Custom, installed the factory luggage rack and use a bag I purchased from T-Bags (Tahoe)...works great, plenty of room for 2 people for 3 days!!! There are larger ones if need be.

Thanks for the input. I decided to go with the HD tour pak. I ordered one yesterday even if I went used and had it painted to match the scoot;I am still ahead with the factory one ( only because I get 20% off ). So, the new one with all the bells, whistles and hardware will run me $1200.

We do long trip 5-7 days plus per month. Nothing like being retired. Just traded in a 06 Hertiage softail (43K) which served us well but hard to pack for a long haul. Well, the wife found it hard to pack and she ain't a newbe at this stuff.

So, now we will have the best of both worlds...Tour pak and a sissy bar set up for everyday riden.

That's a lot of coin. Good luck with it and post some photos when it is installed.

In the long run it would have been cheaper to go to a Ultra but I am not a faring type guy yet! Just can't get used to them....call me( I am) old school. The tour pak should be in around the middle of the month. I'll try and post some pictures. Hope it here before our next trip to the Smokys on the 18th.
