Im still on vaca in Daytona and one of our riding buddies "Bob the Builder" from Sarasota who spent the last few days riding with us had a massive heart attack as we pulled into the Iron Horse bar. We thought he just screwed up and dumped the bike but it was quickly apparent that he was in cardiac arrest. We did what we could until the paramedics arrived. He was stable until about 10PM last night and last I heard he took a turn for the worse. I havent heard anything else yet since Im not immediate family. Everyone at the Iron Horse including the General Manager Steve were really helpful and I thank them for that. The paramedics and the police were also really helpful and quickly responded which probably saved him. Ironically Bob's father died the exact same way...on his bike, having a heart attack. Prayers would be greatly appreciated for Bob and his family. It's 7AM friday and I'm not sure I want to call and get news I dont want to hear. Take care guys...needed to vent. Botz

Sure thing Botz. I said a prayer for Bob and his family as soon as I saw the post.
These privacy laws these days are a real pain, hard to get any info. Many times the bond between riders is closer than family.

Botz... its good that you were all there to give immediate care to Bob.
I pray that the good Lord will give him his health back and bring him to full recovery.
