Default Changing Seats ?

I'm interested in changing the seat on my '95 Lowrider. I now have a badlander which is OK but I'd like to try something different. It seems the cutoff years go from about '91 - '95 and then jump from '96 - '03. My question is what the differences might be. If it is maybe just the location of the seat mounting brackets, I would consider just relocating them which would give me a much greater selection as far as what is available in selecting a used seat. However, if the seat frame contour is much different then adapting a newer year seat would be more difficult. Thank's for any feedback. Craig S.
