Default Good Deal?

There's a new local independent shop that just opened in my area, and he's running this special. Good deal?

Stage I Kit - $999.99 + tax
Power Commander, Rinehart Slip On's, Screamin Eagle Air Box

The Rinehart are $450 to $550 depending on model. The Power Commander about $180 to $250 depending on where you buy it. Screaming Eagle kit $140. All this and they are going to install too? As long as they know what their doing sounds like a pretty good deal.

Well, I guess you are going to get a better sounding machine with the pipes. You could save a little money and go with Rush or Cycle Shack. They're about $200. The Power Commander will cool it off a bit with a richer a/f ratio. I'm assuming that they are going to dyno tune the PCIII for you. You're supposed to see a little gain in hp with the air filter and pipes and PCIII tuned. I don't know how much. Most reports that I have seen are about 7 hp but is varies depending on who tunes.
