Nice Ironhead Sportster chopper! Did you build it yourself, modify it, or buy i as is?

How long have you had that old Harley chopper?

Thanks for sharing with us here on the Harley forum.

bought it as a total basket in 06,only thing usable was frame and girder, rebuilt the original 80 engine(weld on new generator ear ,new jugs and pistons, etc)blew the tranny after 100 miles, swapped out engine for a 83,had it on the road last year but it still needed tweaking, got it running great this year, everyday rider, besides the port and polish ,all work was done by my wife and I,in case your curious what the 555 stands for,we were married on 5-5-05,picked the bike up in michigan on 5-5-06,and she fired for the first time on 5-5-07,thanks, Bob

Man, thats a great set of dates. You always remember important stuff like that.
When I bought my panhead, it was 8.8.88'.
The chopper looks great, nice job.

Now, how did you get there to be more than one photo.... I always have to post another reply to get more than one photo in.... Buzz, is there an easier way?
