Default What's this?

I hope I did this right. If so what the hell is the motor top row between the XR750 and the Nova V4?

Are you referring to the XA engine? It's a copy of a BMW boxer engine used for the military.

Thanks oldnoseven for the response.A guy at another forum had been to the museum and had a closeup of that motor,Underneath it said OHC 1100 1975. I can remember rumors back in those days of an OHC Vtwin 1100.Finally I see a picture of it.The closeup showed it to be obviously aircooled, single overhead cam with a wider than 45 deg V angle. The cylinders were also offset so it must have side by side rods and not fork and knife like our bikes. If you can find out anything more oldnoseven that would be great.Or what about Buzz Kanter and the magazine with thier resources I wish they would investigate.
