Just saw on another site ( with pictures of Mr. Lane in a courtroom) he just got sentenced to 6 years and 3 years probation, lifetime ban of his dr.lic. for killing that guy a couple of years ago. Bet he doesn't serve half of it

No kidding. My guess is he won't have to serve the entire amount that he was sentenced, which is the sad reality. I think he should spend the rest of his life behind bars.

In MI it would have been 90 days lockup, a fine and probation.

Browns receiver Donte Stallworth got 30 days jail time, license suspended for life and 1000 hours community service for basically the same thing. He also paid an undisclosed settlement (translate that into "Large") to the victims family prior to being sentenced. The victims family then asked the judge to go easy on him.

I guess Billy didn't have that kind of coin on him to get that deal.

The guy that crossed the double yellow and killed 2 friends of mine about 3 years ago only got 7 months............................for two murders........

I know it goes without saying, but I'm gonna say it anyhow. That is NOT justice at all... When a wealthy person gets into serious trouble, why is it even legal for them to spend their way out of it? If you've got loads of cash, or a bit of fame, justice definitely isn't "blind".

Not even... watched a guy on trial for manslaughter get off with 2 yr probation and 120hrs of community service at a quad and parapolegic clinic for people suffereing from vechicle accidents.

As I said in the other thread. They threw the book at Billy to make an example out of him.
