Of course my spousal unit is not too happy with me but I kept telling her the day would come.

Now when I ride to Sturgis with my Harley friends they don't have to pretend they don't know me! Last time I rode to Sturgis on the Valk someone on Lasalle actually walked up to me and asked if my bike was even running.

Thanks brothers and sisters! Glad to meet you all.
Welcome to the Harley world and the American Iron Harley forum and glad you posted here.

With a name like KempoMark I am guessing you are into martial arts. If so, if your Harley friends pretend like they don't know you why not flip 'em a roundhouse or back kick (unless one of them is your sensei)?

Tommy ... I can't believe that you would admit to being another man's dog, much less that he keeps you on a leash. Don't know about anyone else, but it sounds kinda kinky to me.

It's finally lifting today. 77 for the high and a few clouds. Perfect.

That is a very good observation about the martial arts. I've been going since '68 and teaching since 1974. Here's the school... ADVANTAGEMA.COM Just click on instructors on the left panel and then look at the right panel. I am the second bio down...

I am trying to get the bike moved from San Antonio to Denver. I contracted with a shipper but as it is a holiday weekend I suspect I won't hear from them til tomorrow. But if not by then I will try and find someone to get it out here.

I would love to ride it back home but due to time constraints being a father and working two jobs, riding the 1K miles was not in the cards. I don't like anyone doing for me what I can do myself. So having these people move my first Harley is a nail biter. I know it's only a 95. But its mine. I've waiting my whole riding life for this moment in time. Thanks brothers and sisters for listening.
