The leg IS mashed... just not broken. I may have a fracture as my ankle is still swollen after a week. Bruises are showing big time and growing. Still walk with a bad limp. May have to have the ankle and shin area x-rayed again. Sometimes small fractures don't show right away, but after a few days.
But, like all have said, and I said just after it happened, could have been the final ride, but, not to be..... Thank GOD!!!!!!

Ouch!
It sounds like you are watching that leg for a delayed reaction.

The left turner that got me back in the 80's mashed my left leg, shin and heel areas. about 2 or 3 weeks of limping and then alla sudden the leg started to swell up. apparently there was a small crack in my shin bone that got infected, and the first stages of gangrene was setting in. The Dr wanted to cut 'er off just below the knee, the clown even took out his ball point pen and drew a line on my leg... (I'll never forget that one) but we waited and I took some antiboitics, that lucky for me, did the trick. That left foot was numb for over a year after that.
But like i mentioned, it sounds like you got a good eye on things, so it wont come to that.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Glad you're ok. Just one more thing for me to learn from. Always hope I'm the student and not the teacher.

Dude that was scary just to read. Done damn near the same thing only with out the cage. Heal fast man and take care of that ankle. You may be wise to get the x-ray. Just for piece of mind if it's nothing or to know your limits if it is a fracture.

Now that we know you are going to be alright is your scoot a wreck or repairable?
Walk softly.

The bike is still in Mesa, AZ. It will be repaired, $4,300.00 to fix. Insurance will take care of everything. I hope to get it back here in the next two weeks.
Again, thanks to all for your kind words and prayers, it means alot to me!!!!
I bet JC knows what I'm saying!
