Default HD/Ford...Trucks

HEY BUZZ:

Thanks for your "candid" story about your Nissan truck, but...

Did you ever consider a real truck, an HD badged 150 or 250 Ford truck-an AMERICAN truck.

Sure, I know there are lots of truck out there and I'm sure they're all pretty good, but we here in America need all the support we can give our folks here, and yeah, I know they're making them foreign vehicles here, but all things being equal, Ford finding a different direction in todays market, if I was a betting kinda of guy I'd be the guy betting on Ford, and yeah, I live in Vegas!

Best of luck with your truck and the "corporate mentality" of Nissan, but I have a bag full of experiences with Ford and their all good ones.

As a matter of fact we do have a Ford truck a very nice and well used F150 longbed (which we bought new from the local Ford dealership - which has since closed) with American Iron Magazine and RoadBike lettered on both sides and the tail gate. We have been very happy with this Ford pick up and would seriously consider another when this one finally wears out.

I also have an old Chevrolet pick up truck, but that's a lot older! 1941 Chevy pick up hot rod with lots of mods including suicide doors, slammed, chopped, etc. V-8 Chevy engine, automatic trans and disc front brakes.

Thanks Buzz

I understand a whole lot more now, and it makes good sense! Glad to see you do have some serious backup!
