Yeah my figures on the hayabusa aren't correct. I got thinking about it again and it wasn't a speed gain, it was to design bikes to go in excess of 210mph or something. I looked through a bunch of old magazines and can't find it. I wish I could remember what it was. But the original Hayabusas were not limited. I believe they still aren't limited outside of North America. The limiters were only put onto North American models in 2000 I believe. Why am I talking about Busas on AIM though?!? Probably a rare topic

Lousy rider in the other lane? LOL!! But still not bad for STOCK! I prefer and would like to see 1/4 mile times, I am not a big believer of the 1/8 mile run as a true race/test.

Have you compared your 1/8 mile times and speed to either bikes?

Your Bike-------------------------The V-Rod in the video---------My Bike

R/T--------.746-------.774--------.107--------------------red light
60'--------2.046------1.927------1.709---------------------1.790
330-------5.141------5.014------4.794---------------------4.879
1/8-------7.752------7.564------7.428----------------------7.339
MPH-----93.70------96.00------- 93.96--------------------101.211
1000----10.017------9.797
1/4------11.969-----11.719
MPH-----115.14-----116.95

Who's the lousy rider? LOL

I haven't run a quarter mile track yet, but here are the results from a racing calculator: http//www.wallaceracing.com/8th-quarter.php
It's not exact, but using your specs in the calculator, it's very close.

The 1/4 mile calculator puts my bike at: 11.54 @ 125.5 mph

Hey, I admitted my better days are behind me. But for an old man, part timer, Andrew Hines wanna-be with a stock street bike, I ain't got a damn thing to be ashamed of.
However, if I was running a 170hp/190 torque, nitrous monster................

Maybe I too would do better with a "CALCULATOR!!!
