I have the yellow sears jack. Its ok. And I have always just sat on the bike, stood it up and jacked it up. Easy.

i know the red sears jack with handle. it fits under my 05 springer but not sure of yours,
please use the lock the hydraulics bleed off ,at least with mine own, please use securing straps as a safety measure, i often find the bike out of gear i left it in , children sneek in a play with it when im not around. i roll in from the none kick stand side and just inside the kick stand , aft. the t handle i take off and just push the bike around for the side i need to the tool box. the coasters are not the greatest and need some coxing to get moving. but it has serve the purpuse. loading bike, center stand were you want it check to stay off shocks on softails, hoist bike to balanced center , leave stand down in case you lose balance , hold bike upright with one hand and pump foot pump with other to required height , set lock.

If you get the red jack you might want to beef up the weld on the T-handle where the handle joins the jack body. I went to move my bike a bit one day and the weld snapped, and of course after the warranty ran out.

With a Dyna you need to see if it clears the oil pan/tank which hangs below the frame rails, if the jack rails are wide enough you should be okay. Otherwise you may need to buy or make adapters to sit on both the rails on the jack for clearance. You'll want something that's fixed to the jack rails so they can't move so the bike won't slip.

Bill; I have had a Harbor Freight lift for 10 yrs. I changed all the pivot bolts to grade 8 and can't complain about it's performance other than the wheel tabs bend and it won't roll with a bike on it. I use my red Sears jack much more. They probably are not made by the same company anymore. Funny thing is, I paid about $125 for the H.F. lift, then 6 years later got the Sears for $60 on sale.

Yup! got mine at H-F about 3 or 4 years ago for $40 or so.
I had a yamaha on it, all the way up, lock in place but not strapped down. Here in California, especially close to the Geysers, I should know better than to leave it up overight...but I did. we had a 4.0 earthquake... I was in the house and had to 'catch' the tv as it teetered. I thought for sure our barn was gonna be on the ground, then I remembered the bike on the lift. I went out to survey the damage... Barn was still there... and the bike was still up on the lift....

I figger I was lucky so except for washing the bike up on the lift... I would strap it down secure.

I have to roll my BMC Custom onto 2x12's to get it up off the ground far enuff for the jack to fit under there.... I use 3 blocks... front tire, back tire, and kickstand,.....
