Default Klockwerks Flare Windshield

Well, I tried like hell to like my 6.5" smoke Klockwerks windshield but it's just a little too short for me. They make one that's 11.5" but I know that it will be too tall. I feel like Goldilocks looking for the right porridge. Love the looks of it so I emailed Klockwerks yesterday and demanded that they make one that is 8.5". Low and behold they emailed me back this morning and said they will have an 8.5" available in about two weeks. Whodathunkit?

Hey at least ya gave it a try. Ebay that thing and get the one you want. I'm sorta surprised they didn't have a middle of the road shield.

Honestly, I'm not sure why I needed to start a new thread but it just struck me as funny. I do have some nice parts for sale. Radio, Sundowner Solo, Stock Pillow seat, 2 windshields, etc. Guess I could attack the want ads here on the forum. Craigslist has not generated much interest.

On a side note. Here's a pic of the radar from 8:00am this morning. Our first cold front of the season. Should be a low of 60 in the morning. After several months of 100 plus days, this is very exciting. I know you snowbirds must think I'm nuts, but I'll take it.

It was 80 this morning when I got up. Tomorrow should be only a high of 72 so we should get in some great riding. This summer was brutal. We'd ride till about noon and had to pack it in from the triple digit heat.

Well, When I was in REno at Street Viberation's, (2-weeks ago) Brian Klock was there at the Harley Dealer in Reno, and I too asked about an 8" windshield. they even had one on a bike that I sat on. so it musta been the proto-type they were making for you Big!!!.
It was perfect, you will like it. I almost bought it, but didnt want to throw away my stock windshield, or try to tye it on the bike somewhere for the ride home.
The brochure they gave me has all three... tint - dark smoke - and - black.
