Ah....... TBone.... you're supposed to bolt the gyro in place, then safety wire it

I can't tell you how many times I did just what you mentioned. 8 years of it!

If I remember right, you couldn't use the wire-pliers. There wasn't enough room and you had to twist the wire by hand. Bolting was bad too. What did that thing weigh? Hold it up by one hand and stab a bolt with the other. And not to mention those military locking twist off plugs that I could only get a thumb and 2 fingers on.
Did you ever take one out that was still spinning? It would walk you around the flight line.
