Default K&N Air Cleaner Install

In the December issue, we showed how to install a K&N air cleaner. Though we gave the price of the part, the top line was about how long it would take, not the cost. Do you prefer to see the cost per horsepower on these performance builds, or should we follow the same rule as a regular tech piece and give you the time frame?

Note: Due to my magazine production and travel schedule I will not be giving responses to posts made here. However, I will be checking them as often as possible to get your feedback. Thank you for helping us make American Iron Magazine the best it can be.

Cool Re: K&N Air Cleaner Install

Hey Chris how about combining the two?

e.g. " This month's how-to should get you 10% more horsepower for under $300 and you can be finished in one afternoon."

Just a thought. I don't think it really matters either way otherwise. I don't think I would be discouraged from reading an article as long as the basic cost and time frame are at least covered in the first paragraph. I pretty much base what articles I read based on the subject.
