Default Fairing vibration on decel

Brand new 09 FLHX, 100 miles on it and already a vibration from the fairing ( I think) on decel. First fairing bike so I'll have to search. Anyone know common things that rattle might cut down on time. I prefer to find and fix myself. HD dealer will only make it worse probably. Botz

May not be coming from fairing.
Batwings are notorious for amplifying sounds coming from elsewhere.
I had a vibration that drove me nuts for damn near a month. Had fairing apart half a dozen times.

One day I rested my hand on the fuel console door.......

OTOH, batwings are prone to having their support brackets break. Taking the outer fairing off is no big deal, have a peek at the brackets.

Happy New Year

Pete

Check your windshield screws, the ones on my Electra Glide loosen up periodically causing a rattle/squeak.
