There are a couple of different motorcycle covers on the market. The lighter one is designed to for garage us to basically keep the dust off, the heavier style is for use outdoors in the snow and rain.

I have a heavy duty Dowco (Guardian Weatherall Plus) cover for my Train. It has a really thin layer of aluminum on the inside (so thin I can't see it and didn't know I had it until I was reader the little sheet of paper it came with). Anyways it has always kept my bike dry and the dirt off of it. The only thing I don't like about it and I think I would run into this problem with any cover; is when I'm pulling it off, where the elastic is, it leave marks in the paint. They come right off when I run just a dry microfiber towel over it and I think it may just a problem with the dark denim paints. It was pretty decently priced, too, from the stealer.

I can't remember what size I got, but obviously there is a big size difference in our bikes. When the parts guy handed me the cover he did tell that it would fit any model on the floor, because I was usure of the size he handed me. Like I said, can't remember what size I got, but it fits nicely and the wind doesn't blow it up/off.

Good luck!
