Hi Guys
I am storing an 07 Ultra Classic for a buddy. Told him I'd change change the primary oil as well. I only have the shop manual for my Softail. Can someone peek in their book to see how many ounces/mililitres the Ultra wants. I assume it is the same, fill it until it is just visible below the clutch but want to be sure. Also the precise measurement below the primary bottom the drain screw/plug should stick out after being put back in. Again, probably the same as mine but you never know.

Hey, 03, how've you been?
From the 07 Touring Models service manual
Primary fluid amt for service is 38 ounces or 1124 ml
.99 cent o ring which is the same for all 3 drain plugs
drain plug torque is 14-21 ft lbs

Hey guys
Been busy fighting old man winter and getting some non bike related work done around here. Temperature is sliding up above freezine almost every day now and I'm getting the bug though. Driveway is still ice covered, but in two to three weeks that will melt.
Thanks on the numbers Tommy. So the new primary's have an O ring in the drain plug. That's a change from the old plug that used a little teflon paste and was left hanging just a fraction. After I change his oil I will take a close look at the gear tips on his ring gear and then update my ring gear posting in the other section. Stay tuned.
